Following the original concept envisioned by John Ed and Mazelle Thomas, the Labor Day Weekend Family Conference is a family camp for people of all ages to come together for an all-inclusive fellowship. Although our roots are decidedly Christian, we are a welcoming community for people of all faith backgrounds and traditions. Whether you are religiously-centered, spiritually seeking, community-based or all of the above, there is a place for you on this weekend! As an inter-generational family conference, we recognize and welcome traditional and nontraditional families including individuals, couples, families with young children, families with nearly grown children. All are welcome.
The focus of the weekend is being together in community. It is an opportunity for friends and families to spend time together in a relaxing, natural setting, away from the fast-paced, busyness of daily life. Geneva Point Center (GPC), located along the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, is a throw-back to a simpler time, equipped with rustic accommodations, extensive woodlands and beautiful beaches along the lake. Enjoy the leisure of coming together at the table to enjoy meals prepared by GPC three times a day. Participate in planned conference activities or embrace unstructured time canoeing on the lake, hiking on nearby trails, or reading a book sitting in a rocker on the Inn's porch. Create memories reconnecting with family and friends, making new friends, and re-charging for the change in season,
Please consider joining us this summer for a slow, inclusive and welcoming, fun, family fellowship weekend!
